This was my News Paper project which I felt some favoritism in because I was very interested in the details and the articles about these topics. These were actually by far the best topics I choose In my eyes. 

This was not really my favorite project but I was kind of getting the hang of things just needed a little more work. this was a Bio project based on questions we came up with while a partner video recorded us.

Along with fourth other members I contributed to a group project where we had to created a PSA for hiv/aids. In this project we wanted to let it be known that people with hiv/aids are not alone and we will march to spread awareness all over.

 

This was another photography project where I choose six of my photographers best photos and explained the elements they used.

This was an magazine assignment I was given where I had chosen Marilyn Monroe and Salena Perez as my two celebrities.

This was a photo essay/PowerPoint of Trees I seen by the trails when I was at my aunts house.

Throughout this school year I have grown to accept and like certain projects that made me extend my growth and c  creative journalism. This is me and Nandi's script for our podcast. On this project our topic we decided to talk about were trending topics that was flooding social media.

                Intro -Was sup guys its K-Deezy and Nandi on the air today  and were bringing you all the trending topics that’s been flooding  social media.

 

Topic 1 Nicki Minaja’s breakup and leaked photos

 Kadeja: So the Nicki and Safaree situation boy ole boy…

Nandi: so previously on twitter there were some naked photos posted on Safaree’s twitter account.

Kadeja: no he brought it to the public’s attention that, the page that posted all the photos was a fake account.

Nandi: see that is exactly where he loses us at. I was team Safaree for a minute but it just doesn’t make sense as to how the photos where uploaded to an account that isn’t even his if he didn’t send them to someone so how?

Kadeja: Well you’re in a situation where you recently break up with someone you were there for before they became this famous sensation to the public. Then after a while you get tiered of the miss treaded treatment you receive from that certain individual as if you are nothing else but an employee so you just get fed up. Then you turn around and see the person you introduced them too together…as a couple…flaunting their relationship on the social networks as if this break up didn’t mean anything.

Nandi: I agree with you, you shouldn’t just jump into another relationship a few months after a break up because of the look you set for yourself and obviously Safaree is hurt by it. If I was him I would be upset and frustrated because you have someone who put their career on hold to support yours till you made it till the top. They stuck by your side through the tough times and you still decided to do that person shady it’s just unbelievable how you could give up someone like that instantly.

Kadeja: I think they both should have sat down and talked it out. Getting the closure and the understanding from both sides deciding to call it quits.

Nandi: most certainly because these two are adults they should be able to come together and settle their differences and what’s the best decision at this point before things are taken to the next level.

Kadeja: This breakup is a perfect example of why you can’t trust anyone not even the person you knew from  a years’ worth of friendship, it doesn’t matter people use your own business against you as retaliation to hurt you not physically but with words.

Nandi: Well guys now you know no one is trustworthy of your business let alone pictures of your goodies. I just think this breakup could have been avoided if they just have talked it out but hey stuff happens I wish them both the best of look in their future relationships.

Topic 2 Baltimore

Nandi: What is your opinion on the events that have been happening in Baltimore?

Kadeja: Black lives matter… The actions of these young black citizens of this city are being misunderstood. And it’s not just in this city it’s all law enforcements around the world and it so happens that yet again, another black citizen has died from the abused authority these officers are given.

Nandi: I agree one hundred percent. It’s as if these officers are not held accountable for the death of these passing individuals. They don’t get the justice they deserve and enough is enough. People are to the point where they are tired of law enforcement abusing their authority. We want justice. Just like Eric Garner, we see this man screaming and crying for help in the video and the police are just dragging him into the police van. You Taser the man and expect him to be able to walk.

Kadeja: Yea reports are saying that he asked multiple times to get some medical help and his asthma pump. People’s health issues they don’t take into consideration he asked for his pump they didn’t give it to him or anything at all to help.

Nandi: The way the police were handling him in the video has people questioning if maybe his spinal injury happened then. The way I see it, you can’t be sure that these policeman didn’t beat him in the van the way they’ve been acting lately.

Kadeja: A lot of people are saying if it was there kind they would absolutely get justice and its crazy because of our history and what their ancestors use to do all the rioting, looting, and the burning of things down when things didn’t go there way, now that we show that same act upon them were monsters or we have no home training or black people are ignorant all these racial quotes about us and the negative statements but yet once again their people have a history of it.

Nandi: Well we all want to see justice for these victims and their families. Something obviously needs to be done about the police force and how they handle citizens especially the black community because black lives matter. We’ll just have to pray on it and wait to see what happens next.
